Description:

This training will explore the principles of eco-conception in hotel construction and design, examining the ways in which hotels can be designed, built, and managed to minimize their environmental impact and maximize their sustainability. Trainees will learn about the importance of sustainable design, the environmental impact of hotel construction and operation, and the strategies and tools available to promote eco-conception in hotel development. The course will cover topics such as green building practices, energy efficiency, water conservation, waste reduction, and sustainable materials. Trainees will also have the opportunity to engage in case studies and practical exercises to apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios in hotel construction and design by the hand of our business partner Global Earthship Arquitecture.

Training Format

The training will be delivered on site, using a combination of live video sessions and interactive discussions. Trainees will be expected to develop an action plan for implementing sustainable practices in their own hospitality operations within 4 weeks of taken the training. The training will culminate when learners will present their action plans for feedback and evaluation to our experts. 

The trainer should also provide support and feedback to the learners throughout the course. Additional support may include peer learning, mentorship, resource materials, and technical assistance for practical implementation.​
